Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Tepedino in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vascogoianiense FC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aírton Sousa took the corner. The corner ended in Aírton Sousa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. Sven Krakouer lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Vascogoianiense FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Vascogoianiense FC's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from João Pirani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 28 minutes into the game, Vascogoianiense FC's João Pirani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Tepedino went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Aírton Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vascogoianiense FC's protests and gave Aírton Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 36th minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Vascogoianiense FC's João Pirani in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Tepedino to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Alexandre Tepedino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. When Vascogoianiense FC's Gilmar Monteiro in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 69 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Sousa in the 69th minute of play. Nelsinho Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 74th minute of the match. When Vascogoianiense FC's Gilmar Monteiro in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Vascogoianiense FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Germany:s goal. After 81 played minutes Vascogoianiense FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Fernandez. 87 minutes into the game, Gilmar Monteiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 94 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. After a defensive mix-up in Vascogoianiense FC's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelsinho Leite came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vascogoianiense FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
