Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. After 10 minutes, Salomon Quaade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciudad Tao FC and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 19th minute of play forced Ciudad Tao FC's goalkeeper Evander Zabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Malheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hegedus Henrik struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Evander Zabel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Jairo Malheiro scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adrian Gråberg hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Evander Zabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ciudad Tao FC's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evander Zabel came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Malheiro in the 43rd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Malheiro was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ciudad Tao FC's Jairo Malheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Evander Zabel in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Balazs Lajos made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Ciudad Tao FC's Evander Zabel managed to reach the ball for a save. After 58 minutes, Balazs Lajos made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Evander Zabel however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Ciudad Tao FC's Evander Zabel got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ciudad Tao FC's Štěpán Flídr got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miron Zabel in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adrian Gråberg who took care of the corner kick. 92 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Miron Zabel came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciudad Tao FC's goalkeeper Evander Zabel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but Ciudad Tao FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
