The supporters of Rovine Craiova booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute Jyrki Saarelainen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rovine Craiova's Kacper Štilić got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Frunză came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Frunză in the 10th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Victor Negara threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viriato Moura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 13 minutes in the game, Viriato Moura dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 17th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. When Fabricio Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Fabricio Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rovine Craiova booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Negara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Portugal's Felipe Barreto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victor Negara. Victor Negara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Gustaw Rasialdo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Victor Negara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Moura's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Victor Negara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipe Barreto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. Viriato Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Victor Negara made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. 52 minutes in the game Shen Xi Bang did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Manole Frunză. Nicolae Negrilă kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 56th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Rovine Craiova's Manole Frunză nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 70 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Shen Xi Bang came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kacper Štilić went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Tudorică came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Miranda. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. After having played for 85 minutes, Manole Frunză managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rovine Craiova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manole Frunză was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Frunză came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Manole Frunză scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 2-4. In the 92nd minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Negara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandru Tudorică kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Rovine Craiova's Manole Frunză got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Shen Xi Bang came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rovine Craiova walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
