Geofredo Ascarza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeng Bing Bin in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 32nd minute of play forced AC VICTOR's goalkeeper Geofredo Ascarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geofredo Ascarza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Lucio Valladolid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeng Bing Bin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 彭军云 ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Lucio Valladolid made the kick off in the second half. Katia Bonachea kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. With a little luck, AC VICTOR's Geofredo Ascarza got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 61 minutes AC VICTOR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Geofredo Ascarza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 65 minutes, Victor Victor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC VICTOR and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card.
