With an extended leg and a bit of luck Célio do Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Xapetuba Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Amauri de Lima hit a great ball. Bernardo Soares struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xapetuba Futebol Clube. After 38 played minutes Xapetuba Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Amauri de Lima. Bernardo Soares might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Neiva in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, Laerte Ramalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 73 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Sven Krakouer. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laerte Ramalho in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Laerte Ramalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xapetuba Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1.
