Fc Gliwice were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Denmark's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stasio Wydrych took the corner. Stasio Wydrych made a great header on Fc Gliwice's corner, it was just that Denmark's Keld Paulsen managed to reach the ball for a save. Lars Steen hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes, Chris Nygaard made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fc Gliwice's Diguinho Breckenfeld tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diguinho Breckenfeld came out and tried to block the shot, but Bertram Svenningsen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Fc Gliwice's goalkeeper Diguinho Breckenfeld had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Chris Nygaard took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Diguinho Breckenfeld to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Fc Gliwice getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mohsen Habacha hit a great ball. Diguinho Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Denmark booed when Fc Gliwice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stasio Wydrych didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. Diguinho Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikkel Wulff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Fc Gliwice's Dawid Bulkiewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diguinho Breckenfeld made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Denmark got a corner. Fc Gliwice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Nygaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Andrzej Wicherek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Andrzej Wicherek struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Gliwice. Zachariasz Danisiewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keld Paulsen having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrzej Wicherek made a kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Chris Nygaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Diguinho Breckenfeld was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diguinho Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 63rd minute of play. Dawid Bulkiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. Simon Bendtsen hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Olav Graversen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 minutes, Zachariasz Danisiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Gliwice and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Fc Gliwice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariasz Danisiewicz to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the game, Iwo Munko threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Mikkel Wulff quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Fc Gliwice getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dawid Bulkiewicz hit a great ball. Fc Gliwice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stasio Wydrych was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dawid Bulkiewicz got free with Keld Paulsen in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the game, Dawid Bulkiewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Denmark walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
