Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Sachs made the kick off which started today's match. Wu Qi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Wu Qi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. In the 10th minute, Maxim Tsigalko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 2-0. 14 minutes into the game, Wu Qi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 17 in the game by Maxim Tsigalko from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Allan Bivall was slow to take the kick. During this time Samurai's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Samurai's corner Allan Bivall fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maxim Tsigalko's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. When Chris Mergenthaler fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Chris Mergenthaler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Maxim Tsigalko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 4-0. 26 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Qi came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Maxim Tsigalko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maxim Tsigalko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Maxim Tsigalko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxim Tsigalko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Samurai's Maxim Tsigalko was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Samurai's attentive Abram Cadabra managed to snatch the ball when Chris Mergenthaler made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
In the 56th minute Maxim Tsigalko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernán Grana made a great header on Samurai's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Hernán Grana put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Samurai made a substitution. Åke Hamnberg replaced Hernán Grana. Allan Bivall took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maxim Tsigalko's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Maxim Tsigalko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maxim Tsigalko might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maxim Tsigalko ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute Maxim Tsigalko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxim Tsigalko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Timmy Henriksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samurai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. In the 87th minute, Maxim Tsigalko made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Timmy Henriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Timmy Henriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Samurai players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
