An unexpectedly hard shot by Neville Byrnes in the 16th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mo Salah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mo Salah in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. After 25 minutes, Albin Holweck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Manly FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mo Salah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Neville Byrnes came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mo Salah was the one to do the kick off. John Aldridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Manly FC's Mo Salah in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Manly FC's Alexander Arnold got a free kick in the 68th minute. Manly FC's Carmichael Carbery was substituted for John Aldridge. After 69 played minutes Manly FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Arnold. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Manly FC's Mo Salah dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. The audience was convinced that Neville Byrnes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute of the match, Mo Salah tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Manly FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
