Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Klemensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Takacs Tibor went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Klemensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Balazs Lajos made a precise shot to the right of Roger Klemensson. Samurai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Takacs Tibor came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takacs Tibor couldn't finish the play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samurai's Roger Klemensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Samurai from getting a goal against them. After 66 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Olov Bäckström. Antal Valentin, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Roger Klemensson was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Balazs Lajos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Balazs Lajos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Roger Klemensson was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Hegedus Henrik capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Balazs Lajos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balazs Lajos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boros Benedek kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Samurai fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
