Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes, Ulf Larsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ugonotti and the Italy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ugonotti's Ulf Larsson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Henning came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ugonotti's Ismael Licerio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gianpaolo Mascari in the 9 minute of the game. In the 11th minute Cesur Atik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigfrido Auletta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Giannetta having to interfere. Achille Giannetta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 17 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Zena Busacca. 18 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Cesur Atik came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Ugonotti got a corner. Italy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yu Wei Bo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ugonotti's Ulf Larsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Flavio Vittori in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Italy defense, Vinícius Juniors kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. The Italy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Vittori should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Juniors in the 25th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Emanuele Cicchinelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 41st minute of play forced Ugonotti's goalkeeper Achille Giannetta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesur Atik in the 43rd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ugonotti's Torsten Henning got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Achille Giannetta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Ulf Larsson made a throw-in in the 50th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Ugonotti's Vinícius Juniors got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Juniors in the 59th minute of the match. Ugonotti made a substitution. Andrea Selvi replaced Santiago Munez. 62 minutes into the game, Ulf Larsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tal Heggit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. Sigfrido Auletta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Achille Giannetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Ulf Larsson in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Ugonotti's Achille Giannetta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torsten Henning. When Zaccheo Andolina came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaccheo Andolina couldn't finish the play. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Tal Heggit sent off a good shot on target. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Ulf Larsson made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Achille Giannetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Curto in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tal Heggit got free with Flavio Vittori in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Achille Giannetta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torsten Henning in the 94th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
