In the 13th minute of the match, Zaccheo Andolina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Achille Giannetta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 14 minutes Ugonotti's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. Achille Giannetta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 17th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Wei Bo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Henning in the 23rd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Ulf Larsson in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Achille Giannetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 32nd minute of play. The corner led Italy's Sigfrido Auletta to fire away a dangerous shot which Achille Giannetta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesur Atik, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Zena Busacca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Achille Giannetta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Sigfrido Auletta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tal Heggit, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Torsten Henning tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Tal Heggit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ugonotti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. 92 minutes into the match, Ugonotti's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Curto came free, but Achille Giannetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ugonotti succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Italy had controlled the match.
