Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) A hard shot by Şinasi Yoruç from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Tommy Kahn's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 5th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Buckland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Manly FC's Edgar Carlisle got a free kick in the 6th minute. Frank Sachs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amos Buckland. Manly FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Amos Buckland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 17th minute of play. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Harvey Elliott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harvey Elliott in the 30th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barnes Winkless during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Germany booed when Manly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnes Winkless didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amos Buckland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 33rd minute of play forced Manly FC's goalkeeper Amos Buckland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ace Goodwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Harvey Elliott came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Manly FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harvey Elliott couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Edwardo Marsland made the kick off in the second half. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germany were furious when Janik Vogt was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Germany fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Tommy Kahn had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Şinasi Yoruç's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Albin Holweck fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 73rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Edgar Carlisle got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ace Goodwin. Harvey Elliott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. When Ulrich Stein fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Ulrich Stein a yellow card for diving instead. Ulrich Stein kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Ulrich Stein came free in the 84th minute and tried to tip the ball over Amos Buckland, but to the joy of Manly FC's supporters the ball went over. 98 minutes into the match, Harvey Elliott notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
