After a rather tough play, FC LSG's Witold Wolniewicz got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Mikkel Wulff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wiktor Juszkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The throw-in from Ksawery Korytkowski in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Theis Winther. FC LSG's Wiktor Juszkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 22nd minute of play. Keld Paulsen was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Jan Frankowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan Frankowski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After having played for 28 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute Jan Frankowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szymon Iwaszko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiktor Juszkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denmark's attentive Simon Bendtsen managed to snatch the ball when Szczepan Betonowy made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Frankowski to make the kick off. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 53 minutes into the match, FC LSG's Szymon Iwaszko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 57 in the game by Chris Nygaard from a close distance when the talented Wiktor Juszkowski managed to make a qualified save. FC LSG's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Tanek Siekierski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Siekierski in the 74th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC LSG's Wiktor Juszkowski got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiktor Juszkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denmark's Olav Graversen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Szczepan Betonowy in the 84 minute of the game. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Chris Nygaard sped through FC LSG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wiktor Juszkowski. FC LSG's Wiktor Juszkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FC LSG from getting a goal against them. Denmark's Olav Graversen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Szczepan Betonowy, made in the 94th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FC LSG's zone, Mikkel Wulff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiktor Juszkowski came out of the goal and Mikkel Wulff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Denmark could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC LSG throughout the match.
