Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Viriato Moura got the match started through his kick off. Vânderson Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Floresta Negra FC's corner Jerzy Zjawin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilson Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Andy Cole left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Negra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Andy Cole ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Cole came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Floresta Negra FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Felipe Barreto scored to the left of an out of position Egun Pais, making the score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Cole in the 45th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Graciano Coutinho. Floresta Negra FC made a substitution. Vivaldo Amorim replaced Vânderson Vale. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Graciano Coutinho hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andy Cole to make the kick off. When Felipe Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Barreto couldn't finish the play. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 58th minute of play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gafur Dolunay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Floresta Negra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson de Lima to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match, Vito Seco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilson Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 95th minute, Felipinho Amorim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 97th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Floresta Negra FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Portugal.
