Desiderio Montel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 2nd minute of the match. Silverio Berart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After 9 played minutes, Hungary's Antal Valentin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Desiderio Montel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hungary reached it. Village Saint Charles FRC's Desiderio Montel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Village Saint Charles FRC from getting a goal against them. In the 13th match minute, Village Saint Charles FRC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Corleone to maneuver through the defense. After 16 played minutes Village Saint Charles FRC got a freekick which was hit by Michael Corleone. Village Saint Charles FRC's Desiderio Montel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Village Saint Charles FRC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Village Saint Charles FRC's Desiderio Montel got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Hungary booed when Village Saint Charles FRC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Vandamme didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Major Barna notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Village Saint Charles FRC's Desiderio Montel. Desiderio Montel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Village Saint Charles FRC's Desiderio Montel got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hector Herensuge took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 36 minutes of play, Village Saint Charles FRC's Hector Herensuge made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Desiderio Montel in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute Hector Herensuge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Village Saint Charles FRC's Desiderio Montel got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Hungary's Takacs Tibor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Montel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Village Saint Charles FRC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chucky Segundo to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Montel came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Balazs Lajos. But to his dismay, Balazs Lajos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 78 minutes, Gerasimos Tzanetakos made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Hungary's Fodor Daniel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Village Saint Charles FRC's Desiderio Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Gerasimos Tzanetakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Desiderio Montel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Village Saint Charles FRC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Village Saint Charles FRC's Desiderio Montel did a great save. Desiderio Montel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 87th minute of play. Antal Valentin scored 3-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Desiderio Montel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute Hector Herensuge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Village Saint Charles FRC to leave the ground with a draw.
