To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Miranda during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 5 minutes into the game, one of Portugal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Wilson Amorim went to the wrong direction when Darnell Joyce was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Jiang Yuan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cyprian Tipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 16th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Cyprian Tipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Inmortales FC's Milosz Kochanowski got a free kick in the 18th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Portugal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Inmortales FC:s goal. In the 29th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Tipinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Jiang Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyprian Tipinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cyprian Tipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 36th minute of the match. Felipe Barreto in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cyprian Tipinski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Cyprian Tipinski made a huge save. In the 43rd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Tipinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inmortales FC's Cyprian Tipinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 44th minute of play. Boris Obin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Cyprian Tipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 47th minute of the match. Caetano Moreira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cyprian Tipinski came out and tried to block the shot, but Caetano Moreira slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Portugal booed when Inmortales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Kochanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inmortales FC's Cyprian Tipinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 60th minute of play. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 77th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Cyprian Tipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. The throw-in from Denis Khan in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Bruno Bastos. Darnell Joyce charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darnell Joyce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christer Johnsson replaced Jiang Yuan. A collision led to Inmortales FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Miromir Hajto hit a great ball. Daniel Pimentel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cyprian Tipinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 90th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Cyprian Tipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes of play, Inmortales FC's Christer Johnsson made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 97 minutes, Christer Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inmortales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christer Johnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
