Edward Vanderstraeten came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kenneth Drange could save by the left post. After 17 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenneth Drange was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kenneth Drange made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Yves Dervaux sent off a good shot on target. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigve Ramberg in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Hans-Martin Torvund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jim-André Kirkevold was slow to take the kick. During this time Rock Hard FC's players had a chance to rest. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kenneth Drange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Hans-Martin Torvund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rock Hard FC booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sander Dermaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Rock Hard FC's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Drange came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Kenneth Drange was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Belgium fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 62nd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Kenneth Drange. Rock Hard FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 67th minute of play forced Rock Hard FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Drange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kenneth Drange in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Frank Haavik tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Rock Hard FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim-André Kirkevold to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Nigel Devos got a free kick in the 78th minute. Kenneth Drange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Hans-Martin Torvund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hans-Martin Torvund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 84th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Kenneth Drange. Rock Hard FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After 92 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenneth Drange was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Belgium had played much better football throughout.
