An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingmar Wiman in the 12th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, Deportivo Empate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evrosi Kalmushki to maneuver through the defense. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristoffer Martinsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ingmar Wiman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 80th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamin Bendyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Deportivo Empate were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Justo Mano took the corner. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hungary would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
