Mwai Emilio Otieno struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for George Weahs Academy. 26 minutes into the game, Ngina Njoroge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. George Weahs Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgium the free kick. George Weahs Academy's Aggelos Telakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 28th minute of play. Ngina Njoroge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Burgos, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With his leg Casper Claes managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when George Weahs Academy's Franco Burgos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of George Weahs Academy's Aggelos Telakos. Aggelos Telakos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franco Burgos was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Franco Burgos notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Edward Vanderstraeten could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Aggelos Telakos however easily saved by the left post. In the 56th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. George Weahs Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Belgium's corner Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aggelos Telakos quite easily take care of the ball. When Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye George Weahs Academy's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 60th minute of play forced George Weahs Academy's goalkeeper Aggelos Telakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Franco Burgos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute George Weahs Academy were awarded a corner. Francis Birir went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Jonathan Omosh got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-1. 63 minutes into the match. If Mwai Emilio Otieno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ngina Njoroge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aggelos Telakos made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aggelos Telakos, passed just outside the right post. 85 minutes into the match, Mwai Emilio Otieno notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aggelos Telakos, 4-2. After some careless play in the George Weahs Academy defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aggelos Telakos. The George Weahs Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aggelos Telakos should have stopped the shot. Aggelos Telakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The George Weahs Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Belgium had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
