The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 24th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Lidström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blomstermåla BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Per Åström didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 33rd minute. Blomstermåla BK's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Per Åström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Leonard Smed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Karl-Åke Lidström made a huge save. In the 53rd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Blomstermåla BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Major Barna fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karl-Åke Lidström quite easily take care of the ball. Takacs Tibor in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl-Åke Lidström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Nordstedt in the 54th minute of play. Karl-Åke Lidström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per Åström in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Takacs Tibor's late challenge caught a Blomstermåla BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Takacs Tibor helped the player get up and apologised. Takacs Tibor kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Per Åström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Karl-Åke Lidström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. 80 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Karl-Åke Lidström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Blomstermåla BK booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonard Smed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Åke Lidström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Arnulfo Ongile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Leonard Smed ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Blomstermåla BK could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
