After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Phelipe saved MIRA -ŁÓDZ from getting behind. After 20 played minutes MIRA -ŁÓDZ got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Jajecznica. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes MIRA -ŁÓDZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Netherlands's Lars Meesters getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Wim Wilmes kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mateo Phelipe. Cezary Jajecznicas short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Arnout Reekers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 36 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ksawery Pachucki. Netherlands's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Ksawery Pachucki scored to the left of an out of position Arnout Reekers, making the score, 2-1. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Ksawery Pachucki tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to MIRA -ŁÓDZ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Aleksander Klewinski hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Jajecznica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when David Eikelkamp got free with Mateo Phelipe in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. MIRA -ŁÓDZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Bas Tuitert got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mateo Phelipe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mateo Phelipe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 67th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Wim Wilmes made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Phelipe. MIRA -ŁÓDZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Mateo Phelipe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Mateo Phelipe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathijn Doctor in the 85th minute. Mateo Phelipe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Wim Wilmes charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wim Wilmes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MIRA -ŁÓDZ throughout the match.
