Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugo Raitin scored 4-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roger Junior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes in the game Chris Mergenthaler did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Frank Sachs. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Preca in the 91st minute of play. Giuseppe Preca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Sajones F.C. were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cesar Quinto took the corner. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sajones F.C. had played much better football throughout.
