But to his dismay, Frank Sachs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The Germany fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Germany's Linus Schwerner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Behçet Korgan got free with Tommy Kahn in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Felix Sercombe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Many of አሪዮንዳስ's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. አሪዮንዳስ may have spent more time on the ball, but Germany were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
