Fernan Frade came out of the goal and Romário Ronaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th match minute, Clube Atlético Mineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Negri to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Clube Atlético Mineiro's José Maria Carvalho got control of the ball when Marcelino Asomoza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernan Frade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lamine Yambao in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Swift GTi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ugaitz Giralte to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th match minute, Clube Atlético Mineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Couto to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmo Ramos during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcelino Asomoza hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The referee gave Clube Atlético Mineiro a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lamine Yambao, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Swift GTi's Fernan Frade. 0-1. The Swift GTi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clube Atlético Mineiro were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedroso Rosario was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Swift GTi's goal looked a bit too open when Lamine Yambao came free, but Fernan Frade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Resto Pinos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Swift GTi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Atlético Mineiro the free kick. Gil Loyola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Fernan Frade made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, Swift GTi's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Valle came free, but Fernan Frade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Lamine Yambao took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Fernan Frade to make any attempt to save it. Fernan Frade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lamine Yambao's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Pedroso Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Swift GTi's Fernan Frade got control of the ball when Nelsinho Viana tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Swift GTi's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Valle came free, but Fernan Frade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
