In the 7th minute Benjamin Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Ekberg kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When Edinho Freire came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Jr Familia Campos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edinho Freire couldn't finish the play. After 17 played minutes Jr Familia Campos FC got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Guerra. Benjamin Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Nascimento having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Olof Gernberg during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sven-Olof Gernberg kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Bora Bora's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio Magalhães came free, but Jens Alebäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Edinho Freire cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sven-Olof Gernberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Claudinho Nascimento. 1-3. If Edinho Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jr Familia Campos FC's Claudinho Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Åke Lindberg in the 74th minute of play. Edinho Freire's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jens Alebäck firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Jr Familia Campos FC booed when Bora Bora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Arne Möllgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, José Pedro Trevisan took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Jens Alebäck to make any attempt to save it. Claudinho Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Åke Lindberg in the 96th minute of play. The Jr Familia Campos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
