Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kevin Newman got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Renteria was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Jacco Hoving struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Ontembare Leeuwen. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute, Germany's Frank Sachs ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Norberto Renteria. Norberto Renteria yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Kevin Newman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Norberto Renteria in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stefan Popken took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Norberto Renteria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 31st minute. De Ontembare Leeuwen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raymond Heersprink in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Jacco Hoving stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Jacco Hoving tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Renteria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Newman, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jacco Hoving's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. De Ontembare Leeuwen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raymond Heersprink in the 52nd minute. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Raymond Heersprink was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 53 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. After having played for 56 minutes, Jacco Hoving managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Ontembare Leeuwen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacco Hoving was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sander Spoel took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thijs van der Doelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Newman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Newman in the 64th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thijs van der Doelen in the 67th minute of the match. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Kevin Newman was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 73rd minute, Stefan Popken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kevin Newman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Newman in the 90th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Stefan Popken got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 93rd match minute, De Ontembare Leeuwen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Heersprink to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. De Ontembare Leeuwen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
