Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chico Donato. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 17th match minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Quadros to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gust Ennemans hit a great ball. Egbert Nijveldt's late challenge caught a DIPLOMATA FC PAB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egbert Nijveldt helped the player get up and apologised. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Song Xiong Hong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 31st minute of play. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 32nd minute of play. Chico Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 36th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 37th minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Olivier Gilg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnout Reekers firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olivier Gilg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save DIPLOMATA FC PAB from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chico Donato made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Donato having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Donato. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 80 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Donato. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 0-5 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chico Donato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DIPLOMATA FC PAB.
