Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Henk Veerman notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martin Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıdvan Balıkçı in the 10th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Johansson in the 12th minute of play. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by 1930 Bafraspor's Martin Johansson. But to his dismay, Martin Johansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Faustino Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1930 Bafraspor's Çakır Alyakut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute Fabricio Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çakır Alyakut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Çakır Alyakut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 46 minutes of play, Portugal's Viriato Moura made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Çakır Alyakut was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henk Veerman was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Çakır Alyakut in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Alaaddin Benlioğlu in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. 60 minutes into the match, 1930 Bafraspor's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Çakır Alyakut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Veerman in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıdvan Balıkçı in the 68th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Barreto in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Çakır Alyakut, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Çakır Alyakut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 73rd minute. Çakır Alyakut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henk Veerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 1930 Bafraspor's Çakır Alyakut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 78th minute of play. When Henk Veerman came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the 1930 Bafraspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henk Veerman couldn't finish the play. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. 1930 Bafraspor made a substitution. Viktor Ushanov replaced Rıdvan Balıkçı. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Çakır Alyakut made a huge save. Felipinho Amorim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Çakır Alyakut when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Felipinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Çakır Alyakut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 1930 Bafraspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
