Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Salvatore Schillaci started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Gonz FC's Eugeniusz Zapolski got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Rene Benino in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Olav Graversen. In the 9th minute, Chris Nygaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. David Madureira came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Chris Nygaard. But to his dismay, Chris Nygaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 18 minutes, Salvatore Schillaci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gonz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvatore Schillaci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salvatore Schillaci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjarne Kirkegaard to maneuver through the defense. Eugeniusz Zapolski kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Denmark's Chris Nygaard broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Rene Benino with Eugeniusz Zapolski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 32nd match minute, Gonz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Huchro to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertram Svenningsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with David Madureira in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chris Nygaards short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got David Madureira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eugeniusz Zapolski hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gonz FC's David Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Madureira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Nygaard in the 72nd minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertram Svenningsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonz FC were furious when Gogo Baristo was red carded, 79 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 82nd minute, Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonz FC's David Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Denmark booed when Gonz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Huchro didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got David Madureira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Denmark left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gonz FC.
