Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antal Valentin hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Régis de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Régis de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 9th minute. The corner led Hungary's Katona Janos to fire away a dangerous shot which Régis de Queirós despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Iustin Bungeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Palmeiras booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takacs Tibor didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Iustin Bungeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Régis de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 26th minute of play. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Régis de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Régis de Queirós came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Bungeanu in the 39th minute of play. Iustin Bungeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Iustin Bungeanu made the kick off in the second half. Iustin Bungeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Bungeanu in the 59th minute of play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Bungeanu in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Leonardo Donato fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmeiras's protests and gave Leonardo Donato a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras's Leonardo Donato got a free kick in the 69th minute. Leonardo Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. With a little luck, Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Takacs Tibor notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós. Palmeiras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 94th minute of play. Leonardo Donato was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
