Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Tanek Wojtyna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. 10 minutes into the match, FC Brzesko City's goalkeeper Tanek Wojtyna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 12th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. FC Brzesko City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tanek Wojtyna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 14th minute. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Domaracki, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Sylwester Kasiewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that David Eikelkamp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tanek Wojtyna was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 27th match minute, FC Brzesko City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkadiusz Kajder to maneuver through the defense. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Wojtyna having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Zbyszko Kajder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbyszko Kajder in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. Jan Domaracki hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijn Doctor to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes, FC Brzesko City's Aureliusz Dziewulski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnout Reekers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Brzesko City reached it. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Tanek Wojtyna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. 44 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszko Kajder came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gijsbert ter Kruimer. In the 48th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a free kick at goal. It was hit a tad too hard, and went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zbyszko Kajder was the one to do the kick off. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Kajder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Jan Domaracki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-1. The audience was convinced that Gijsbert ter Kruimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tanek Wojtyna was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 65 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tanek Wojtyna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tanek Wojtyna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mayis Zabitov fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Brzesko City's protests and gave Mayis Zabitov a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes FC Brzesko City got a freekick which was hit by Mayis Zabitov. Zbyszko Kajder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. The supporters of FC Brzesko City booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Wilmes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Netherlands fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Brzesko City had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
