An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 8th minute of play forced DELUX's goalkeeper Erdi Bender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Dominik Szoboszlai sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 13 in the game by Dinu Potra from a close distance when the talented Arnout Reekers managed to make a qualified save. Netherlands's players were relieved. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jean Bousquet was slow to take the kick. During this time DELUX's players had a chance to rest. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind DELUX's goalkeeper Erdi Bender, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, DELUX's Jordão Almeida got a free kick in the 18th minute. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by DELUX's Tzanyo Barbutski. But to his dismay, Tzanyo Barbutski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 30 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of DELUX booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijn Doctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean Bousquet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdi Bender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dinu Potra to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Szoboszlai came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tzanyo Barbutski in the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dinu Potra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erdi Bender having to interfere. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Erdi Bender made a huge save. A hard shot 69 in the game by Wim Wilmes from a close distance when the talented Erdi Bender managed to make a qualified save. DELUX's players were relieved. Wim Wilmes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Erdi Bender 69 minutes into the match. Erdi Bender stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wim Wilmes's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Eikelkamp got free with Erdi Bender in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Potra in the 77th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Dinu Potra made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. DELUX made a substitution. Kıvanç Mertkal replaced Jordão Almeida. The supporters of Netherlands booed when DELUX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kıvanç Mertkal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Szoboszlai in the 89th minute of play. After 93 played minutes DELUX got a freekick which was hit by Karamfil Yaranov. After 95 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Wim Wilmes. DELUX's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
