Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. Portuguesa's Jorginho Vaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Portuguesa from getting a goal against them. Jorginho Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Holger Zachrisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Zachrisson in the 11th minute of play. Portuguesa's Jorginho Vaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Portuguesa from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Zachrisson came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portuguesa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 任浩默 in the 15th minute. Portuguesa's Jorginho Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 16th minute of play. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Portuguesa's Jorginho Vaz. Jorginho Vaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 31st minute. A nice corner shot did that Egbert Nijveldt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorginho Vaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Portuguesa's Tostão Mota got a free kick in the 34th minute. 余霖正 kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Portuguesa got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Pirlo. In the 41st minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jorginho Vaz was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Gijsbert ter Kruimer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 任浩默 made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorginho Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Portuguesa's Jorginho Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 59th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by 任浩默 in the 66th minute. Portuguesa were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 任浩默 took the corner. After taking down the ball on Portuguesa's corner 任浩默 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Portuguesa's goalkeeper Jorginho Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Portuguesa's David de Alcântara was substituted for Holger Zachrisson. Portuguesa made a substitution. Silvério Bittencourt replaced Andreas Pirlo. The supporters of Portuguesa booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaaf Groeneveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes Portuguesa got a freekick which was hit by 余霖正. After a defensive mix-up in Portuguesa's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorginho Vaz came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Jorginho Vaz. Portuguesa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 92nd minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorginho Vaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Netherlands fully deserved thier win.
