In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Daniel Vitek a yellow card for diving instead. Halcones's Israel Gabino was substituted for Camillo De Vecchis. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Jilek was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Ortzi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 52 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Denis Dostal. In the 54th minute, Dalimil Charvat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vavrinec Holub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Abeijon's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Denis Dostal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Halcones. Miromir Bochinski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vavrinec Holub. 2-0. If Claudio Abeijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Honorato Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Abeijon in the 80th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Halcones's goalkeeper Siro Lore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Jilek. Halcones's Siro Lore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Halcones from getting a goal against them. Miromir Bochinski hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Alan Rezek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alan Rezek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Siro Lore made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Jilek in the 97th minute of play forced Halcones's goalkeeper Siro Lore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Halcones were the better team. Halcones's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
