The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wilfredo Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Zollinger in the 16th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Real Unión CF's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Wilfredo Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Linus Schwerner kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Wilfredo Heli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Unión CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. In the 31st minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Jenaro Igarza in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Janik Vogt. 김 반 had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of Germany booed when Real Unión CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. 김 반 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Real Unión CF got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cebo Segura ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cebo Segura almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuan Jian Hai in the 67th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Real Unión CF's 김 반 made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Danilo Yermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 83 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuan Jian Hai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Unión CF's Wilfredo Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 87th minute of play. Jenaro Igarza kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Frank Sachs took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilfredo Heli. Wilfredo Heli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
