Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zaccheo Andolina got the match started through his kick off. Ahmet Danış Garipbaş made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manúel Bento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Dogelo getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Justino Dabi hit a great ball. Manúel Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Italy were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Dogelo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Siricio Liotta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manúel Bento quite easily take care of the ball. Flavio Vittori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldemar Burdzel went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Manúel Bento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 30th minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Manúel Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Lewis van Dijk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dogelo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Zaccheo Andolina almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dogelo's Manúel Bento did a great save. In the 39th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manúel Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 41st minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Manúel Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Ulisses Mattos in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Sostene Vitulli. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Manúel Bento made a huge save. After having played for 54 minutes, Siricio Liotta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siricio Liotta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 62nd minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Manúel Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manúel Bento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 66th minute of the match. Lico Catarinense's late challenge caught a Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lico Catarinense helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dogelo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Lico Catarinense hit a great ball. Dogelo's Manúel Bento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, Dogelo's Manúel Bento got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Dogelo's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Manúel Bento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lico Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Manúel Bento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 86th minute of play. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Dogelo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Siricio Liotta took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Dogelo's zone, Adriano Curto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manúel Bento came out of the goal and Adriano Curto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Siricio Liotta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Despite being the better team, Italy failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
