An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé 林义义 in the 22nd minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 66 minutes on the clock, Benjamin Domazet commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 67th match minute, Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Domazet to maneuver through the defense.
