Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Kaloyan Mitashev started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kalle Askberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Aqşin Aläkbärov made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. After 12 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Aqşin Aläkbärov. 13 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Kalle Askberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Aqşin Aläkbärov threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Eliseo Cutri quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bernardo Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalle Askberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 46th minute of play. When Zaccheo Andolina came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaccheo Andolina couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. 53 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kalle Askberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Sundborn IF from getting a goal against them. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Sundborn IF from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Siricio Liotta went to the cornerflag to take it. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kalle Askberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Porziano Marchitelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Kalle Askberg made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Holmgren in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. Kalle Askberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Curto's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Svensson in the 95th minute of play. The Sundborn IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Italy's performance. The match ended with a win for Italy.
