After a rather tough play, True storY's Gennadiy Terentiev got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th match minute, True storY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantin Savin to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, True storY's Pahom Nikiforov got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 8 minutes, Maadan Lăcătuș mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the True storY and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to True storY getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Maadan Lăcătuș hit a great ball. Wim Wilmes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. Pahom Nikiforov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Pahom Nikiforov in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pahom Nikiforov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the game, Gust Ennemans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave True storY the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gust Ennemans to maneuver through the defense. After 44 minutes, Egor Bubnov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the True storY and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, True storY's Egor Bubnov got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pahom Nikiforov having to make a save. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after True storY's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. 58 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Lars Meesters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pahom Nikiforov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Li Cheng in the 64th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pahom Nikiforov having to make a save. True storY made a substitution. Vyacheslav Gruler replaced Emil Kostadinov. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Pahom Nikiforov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pahom Nikiforov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the True storY defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pahom Nikiforov. The True storY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pahom Nikiforov should have stopped the shot. Pahom Nikiforov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 80th minute of play. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Pahom Nikiforov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Netherlands's David Eikelkamp suffered a concussion in the 88th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Veniamin Buksmann during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Netherlands's Sijmen Clous was substituted for David Eikelkamp. A collision led to True storY getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Veniamin Buksmann hit a great ball. True storY's Pahom Nikiforov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 92nd minute of play.
