In the 23rd minute, Ali Vedat Ilıcak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Şentürk Yengi came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şentürk Yengi succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. In the 34th minute of the match, Ali Vedat Ilıcak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Şentürk Yengi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DEMİR YUMRUK reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Tamariz Zurieta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Sachs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 53 minute of play. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Vedat Ilıcak's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 58th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich Stein to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Şentürk Yengi put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Frank Sachs could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Tamariz Zurieta however easily saved by the left post. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz-Sultan Selim in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of DEMİR YUMRUK booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball.
