Sylwester Wawro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siricio Liotta in the 9th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Porziano Marchitelli heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Sylwester Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 13th minute of play. Sylwester Wawro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylwester Wawro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hug Urquiaga was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Zaccheo Andolina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sylwester Wawro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sylwester Wawro made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Sigfrido Auletta sent off a good shot on target. Kyrylo Latenko made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. 64 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Sylwester Wawro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylwester Wawro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 68th minute. Kwyjibo's Sylwester Wawro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Kwyjibo from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute of the match Italy got a corner. Kwyjibo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Siricio Liotta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kwyjibo's goalie and right to Guiscardo Davide. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kwyjibo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kwyjibo's goalkeeper Sylwester Wawro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sylwester Wawro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Italy were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Kwyjibo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Siricio Liotta took the corner. Guiscardo Davide was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Sylwester Wawro made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Porziano Marchitelli sent off a good shot on target. Italy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
