In the 15th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duran Vefakar took the corner. The corner led ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's Duran Vefakar to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haldun Gürdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İstemihan Akcebe. Isaltino Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Haldun Gürdal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. İstemihan Akcebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haldun Gürdal in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Hungary booed when ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duran Vefakar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaltino Baptista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 55th minute. After 59 played minutes ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ got a freekick which was hit by Friedhold Jungbauer. Ali Demirci kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Norbert got free with Isaltino Baptista in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İstemihan Akcebe in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ throughout the match.
