Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 21 minutes, Telmo Teves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GD Fiães's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telmo Teves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Câmara in the 58th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Câmara came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Tobias Brites stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Tobias Brites tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. GD Fiães's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cassiano Mendonça quite easily take care of the ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Teves in the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GD Fiães's Delyan Temelyotev got a free kick in the 76th minute. GD Fiães's Adão Anjos was substituted for Maurício Câmara. Delyan Temelyotev kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Szekeres Tamas hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. GD Fiães's Telmo Teves couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hungary. Cassiano Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Teves in the 92nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amável Quental hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Cassiano Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Takacs Tibor went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The GD Fiães fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
