Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurențiu Todericiu in the 8th minute of the match. AFC Nirosxn 08's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emil Atanasiu in the 11th minute. After taking down the ball on AFC Nirosxn 08's corner Emil Atanasiu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. Mugurel Slătineanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Savu in the 16th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, David Jönsätt took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Mugurel Slătineanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 39th minute of play forced AFC Nirosxn 08's goalkeeper Mugurel Slătineanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugurel Slătineanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ionică Savu made a kick off. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Jönsätt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the game, Emil Atanasiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Savu in the 58th minute of play. Mugurel Slătineanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when David Jönsätt came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Ionică Savu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Meesters to maneuver through the defense. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Mugurel Slătineanu made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Mathijn Doctor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match Emil Atanasiu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 91 played minutes AFC Nirosxn 08 got a freekick which was hit by Robert Acalinei. 94 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mugurel Slătineanu, 3-1. AFC Nirosxn 08's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
