Aioros FC's Bento Chandeiro managed to work through Italy's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Bento Chandeiro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 25 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Deodato Magliozzi. In the 29th minute, Siricio Liotta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beat Vid was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 34 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Chandeiro came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beat Vid saved Aioros FC from getting behind. Mai Cheng Zhen kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off.
