Christian Kiliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 4th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match, Carolo Abancens got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnout Reekers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Daniel Garnero sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute of the match, Dinç Tuncay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 26th minute of play forced Altos Gatos FC's goalkeeper Christian Kiliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Kiliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 27 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Christian Kiliz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Shi Qian Peng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Christian Kiliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 45th minute of play. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Carolo Abancens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

David Eikelkamp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christian Kiliz came out and tried to block the shot, but David Eikelkamp slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Garnero in the 58th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Christian Kiliz in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Altos Gatos FC made a substitution. Javier Santo replaced Shi Qian Peng. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Santo in the 70th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Rosendo Sesuldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Kiliz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Christian Kiliz made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Javier Santo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Altos Gatos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Santo in the 90th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Meesters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Kiliz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Dinç Tuncay came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
