The supporters of Belgium booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Emmanuel Dennis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Casper Claes, passed just outside the right post. Nigel Devos hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Martin Mutumba sent off a good shot on target. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Mutumba in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Nigel Devos got a free kick in the 34th minute. Jose Indalecio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Ekrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belgium's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 38th minute. A nice corner shot did that Edward Vanderstraeten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcus Ekrot quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 40th minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 42nd minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 44th minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Nigel Devos. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 59 minutes Vykans Vikingar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Vanderstraeten who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcus Ekrot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vykans Vikingar's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. After 63 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Jose Indalecio. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Indalecio during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jose Indalecio hit a great ball. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Faas Wilkes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. Jose Indalecio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faas Wilkes in the 93rd minute of play. Tage Glanselius hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Remicio in the 97th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vykans Vikingar had won after a very even match.
