Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ovidiu Poenaru made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Gerold Zollt. DJK Füchtel Vechta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 6th match minute, DJK Füchtel Vechta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Wasmeier to maneuver through the defense. Gerold Zollt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Matthieu Richardot took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthieu Richardot in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerold Zollt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wellington Nóbrega in the 28th minute of play. After 31 minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Netherlands's Wim Wilmes to fire away a dangerous shot which Gerold Zollt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lars Meesters might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerold Zollt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Meesters ran back to his position shaking his head. Gerold Zollt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Gerold Zollt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 39th minute of play. Marcus Terstappen hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerold Zollt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcus Terstappen during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Marcus Terstappen got a free kick in the 54th minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthieu Richardot in the 59th minute of the match. Ovidiu Poenaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gerold Zollt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Poenaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Poenaru in the 71st minute of the match. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gerold Zollt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ovidiu Poenaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Gerold Zollt threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars Meesters, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 84th minute Matthieu Richardot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when DJK Füchtel Vechta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Kursawe didn't get a good kick on the ball. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Kai Baumbach was substituted for Chris Kursawe. In the 90th match minute, DJK Füchtel Vechta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Kursawe to maneuver through the defense. Ovidiu Poenaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerold Zollt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
