Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mariachi FC's Arsenio Sancho got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Mariachi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Juanito Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mariachi FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. A sloppy throw-in by Odol Campillo in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mariachi FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Denmark's corner Chris Nygaard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juanito Perez quite easily take care of the ball. Mariachi FC's Jeraldo Duñabeitia got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Jose Solorzano made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Juanito Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 29th minute of the match. Mathias Ludvigsen hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes, Mariachi FC's Odol Campillo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Keld Paulsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mariachi FC reached it. After 32 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Chris Nygaard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 34th minute of play forced Mariachi FC's goalkeeper Juanito Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 52 minutes, Henrik Vestlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mariachi FC and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Henrik Vestlund hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Juanito Perez made a huge save. In the 56th minute Olaf Kolano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Zavier Reveco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mariachi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zavier Reveco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Jeraldo Duñabeitia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Denmark! Keld Paulsen had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Odol Campillo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zavier Reveco in the 75th minute of play. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Olaf Kolano in the 77 minute of the game. Denmark's attentive Simon Bendtsen managed to snatch the ball when Odol Campillo made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Mariachi FC's Odol Campillo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Denmark's Chris Nygaard couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mariachi FC. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Juanito Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
