Balazs Lajos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ago Vaasna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. Ago Vaasna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen 05's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Ago Vaasna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Simon Bannenbusch tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Ago Vaasna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 minutes KFC Uerdingen 05's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The attack was good, but when Takacs Tibor in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fabrizio Nowak hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Hungary's Balazs Lajos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ago Vaasna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the KFC Uerdingen 05 defense, Balazs Lajos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ago Vaasna. The KFC Uerdingen 05 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ago Vaasna should have stopped the shot. Hartwig Engelhardt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. Simon Bannenbusch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by KFC Uerdingen 05's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Marian Matetzki kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. KFC Uerdingen 05's Ago Vaasna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Uerdingen 05 from getting a goal against them. KFC Uerdingen 05's Luo Ying Liang was substituted for Simon Bannenbusch. In the 68th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. KFC Uerdingen 05's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hungary's Antal Valentin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ago Vaasna in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 71 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen 05's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Ago Vaasna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Antal Valentin in the 74th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Ago Vaasna kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ago Vaasna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hartwig Engelhardt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute of the match KFC Uerdingen 05 got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ricardo Lugebiel ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Magnus Bülau got a free kick in the 94th minute. Through a series of nice moves, Hungary's Antal Valentin on his own came free in the 96th minute of the match and shot 0-4 behind a disappointed Ago Vaasna. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KFC Uerdingen 05 throughout the match.
